Stanky Creek Jam

I showed up kinda late to this event but it seemed like everything went pretty well. There was a nice crowd, and many locals came out to support.

I also had a chance to talk to Beckemeyer who filmed for SK during our time with Ricky Moseley (footy which has yet to be release). He spoke on the stanky creek project which is coming alone great, it's just a couple of friends coming together for some great trail riding and digging, said Beckemeyer. From what I've seen from today giving the time and effort there putting in on a daily basis with the digging and creating better jumps, stanky creek is in great hands.. They even had time for some tree swinging.

Sk Sergio Kosco: State of the brand

It takes a lot of hard work to form a brand and it takes even more effort to form a successful brand. We've received a lot of great feedback and we're certainly looking forward to improving the SK Sergio Kosco brand in every way possible going forward.

We missed a lot of planned trips this year for reasons of inventory growth. The main mission going forward is to further advertise to our growing fan base, and also display the SK Sergio Kosco brand in our first store in MG boards located in millington,Tn, which we are very excited about. Stay tuned!

Forrest Edwards: Unhinged

Today, Thrasher Magazine released a new video from Amateur skateboarder Forrest Edwards. All I have to say about the video is that it is ridiculously gnarly. So many bangers and hammers in one video. You'll have to watch it to see to believe it. And now, I proudly present Forrest Edwards: Unhinged.

Sergio Kosco Teaser

Alright, today we have the new teaser for our video that should be coming out sometime in the near future. What you're seeing is Skyler King skating. This is before the injury, by the way. Watch, enjoy, and comment. All credit goes to Jon Booker for filming and editing.

Team updates: Injuries and such.

Today, I am sad to report that our dear friend and team rider, Skyler King, will be on temporary leave due to an injury he sustained yesterday while filming. He is suffering from a cracked tailbone and will be out for about 3 months. Aside from the injury, he put out some great footage yesterday. I will post the video as soon as it is edited and put up for us to watch.
In other news, I, Dylan Brown, am out on injury leave for quite some time. I am suffering from an unknown injury to my left ankle, which might need surgery to correct it, and a banged/bruised up left leg. I will continue to post on here with updates, videos I think are rad, and just skateboarding talk in general. Thank you all for the read. Follow me on Twitter if you want. @Dylan_901

"Bake and Destroy" premier and riots.

Alright, so we all know that the newest Baker Skateboards video premiered in Hollywood last night, right? Well, from what I've heard it was a killer video. I've heard that everyone skated super well and that Justin Figueroa, Baker Skateboards pro, completely blew away the video. Do I sense a Figgy SOTY award this year?? Alright, back to the topic... The premier had about 500 people show up to watch, but as we all know there's limited space in the theater. So the kids that didn't get in to watch the premier were pretty bummed and/or pissed off. This caused quite a bit of trouble for the city of Hollywood. The story of it all is, the kids who couldn't get in started a riot out of anger. This caused multiple squad cars and even a ghettobird(police helicopter) to show up on the scene to help end the chaos that ensued from these kids. I think it's safe to say, this is going down in the history books. Video of the riot is linked in the post at the bottom. Check it and tell us what you think.
Anyways, discussion questions!
Who do you think will have the best part in Bake And Destroy? Herman? Reynolds? Figgy?
Post your answers in the bottom and feel free to explain why you think that.

Danny MacAskill vs. San Francisco Short Film

Bursting onto the scene last year with his smooth style and seemingly-impossible stunts, professional BMX rider and Inspired Bicycles pro Danny MacAskill recently hit the streets of San Francisco for a new short film. Presented by Remington, the video showcases the power, precision and control that are at the heart of the Scottish-born street trials rider’s techniques as the likes of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Transamerica Pyramid, and the city’s signature fog provide a backdrop.

SERGIO KOSCO™ news// Limited Addition SK SERGIO KOSCO™ "Don't Blink" iPhone Case

This has been a great week so far, we've made strides as a brand. Whether it's a big step or a small step as long as your making steps, your going in the right direction. I received  a new shipment of SK SERGIO KOSCO™ tees and my next move was to setup a meeting with my web designer cmoore/art about upgrading to sergiokosco.com, plus plan for a few photo shoots and some new edits. Always looking for new product to brand, we've recently added a new item to our collection the limited addition SK SERGIO KOSCO™ "Don't Blink"  iPhone case.

If we must say it's a great fit! We've branded a total of 7 SK iPhone cases so far, and I (D.Watts,SK SERGIO KOSCO™ founder) kindly accepted the chance to tryout our latest SK addition. I was totally pleased with the "Don't Blink" iPhone case and I'm sure the consumer will also.

Garrent Reeves Gets A Weed Sponser.. Comments Welcomed!

Garrett Reeves has got what 80% of pro riders wish they had; a marijuana sponsor. In sunny California, weed is legal (for now) and Garrett made friends with Nuggetry, who are keeping him smoking good. This is his introductory video. I’m about to start working on an interview with him and this topic will definitely be updated.

Good Friday! SK product coming really soon

Dropped off a box of multiple color shirts at the print shop on this "Good Friday". It's only 24hrs in a day, I definitely needed more. I took off from the j.o.b. because the brand needed a boost in every direction and as founder I'm delighted to fulfill that role. I got a lot done except one thing which was a planned visit to MG Boards skate shop in Millington, TN.

But hey! I did get some time to fit in some skate time and I worked on a few tricks I been meaning to get to, so overall it was a successful day. The shirts should be finished by next Friday so I'll be looking for your orders mos'def! It seems every time I get a shipment of SK product to the states, I can't keep them in stock. Make sure you check back @sergiokosco.blogspot.com for the latest  SK SERGIO KOSCO™ updates and the latest skateboard, BMX, and extreme sports news.

Mongoose Jam at Woodward West

Here’s how the Jam will work:
-5 Mongoose pro riders as Team Captains who select 4 pro rippers as teammates and then bring on one lucky Woodward camper as their amateur teammate (making for a total of 30 riders competing in the Jam).
-Each captain slots 2 riders into each of our 3 BMX contests (Street, Park, & Dirt) giving us a field of 10 guys in each contest.
-All 10 guys compete for the top score in their discipline and we’ll combine the individual scores for each pair of teammates and rank the teams after each contest.
-Pros split up the $40,000 prize purse and the 5 Woodward campers each get a Mongoose flow deal. The camper on the winning squad will get to spend another week at Woodward Camp!
If you can’t jump in your car to hang with us in person (did we mention the event is free?), be sure to bookmark this page for all the latest event details. Don’t forget to join us July 26-27 for the live stream of the Mongoose Jam contests from Woodward West!

Street League 2012: Arizona

I know I'm kinda late... Wish I could've covered this event, but hey thanks for the web! Nyjah’s winning streak came to a halt today in Glendale, Arizona. P-Rod’s flawless barrage of switch tricks accumulated too many points for Nyjah to keep up with. It came down to Chris Cole, who could have taken the win on his last trick, he went for a 50-50 kickflip out on the big out-ledge and bailed it. Paul wins his first Street League ever and that nice check for 150 grand. Cole did come up in the Chevy Overdrive best trick comp. He nailed insane tricks all over the course and got 10 G’s for his effort. The top eight heading to New Jersey for the Championships are P-Rod, Nyjah, Cole, Bastien, Luan, Sheckler, Malto, and Chaz. See you August 26 in New Jersey.
